Services | Routine Vision - Dr. McQuillan provides a thorough comprehensive eye examination for infants through seniors. He also monitors diabetes, glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, retinal detachments, keratoconus and other disorders.
Treatment of Eye Disease and Injury - Dr. McQuillan is trained and therapeutically certified to diagnose and treat infections, allergies, dry eye, corneal abrasions and other ocular diseases and injuries.
Retinal Mapping - Dr. McQuillan is the first optometrist in Camarillo to offer his patients the Optomap retinal exam. Incorporating the latest in scanning laser ophthalmoscope (SLO) technology, the Optomap provides a permanent digital record for Dr. McQuillan to view almost the entire retina (200 degrees) without the need for pupil dilation.
Surgical Care - Dr. McQuillan provides pre- and post-operative care by co-managing with LASIK, Cataract and other refractive surgeons. This allows for convenience of care with the flexibility of scheduling within your own timetable.
Vision Therapy - is designed for patients who experience eye muscle coordination problems and focusing disorders which can lead to learning problems in the school years and reduced comfort and productivity for working adults.
This treatment is also designed for patients of traumatic brain injuries brought on by accidents or strokes. Dr. McQuillan has worked with many patients to help with visual field losses and restore their quality of life.
Contact Lenses - We provide a wide variety of contact lenses that would best fit you and your vision. We have soft, hard, bifocals, progressive, and colored lenses. Dr. McQuillan also provides Orthokeratology, or Vision Shaping Treatment, which uses hard lenses to gently correct your vision while you sleep. This allows you the freedom of not having to wear glasses or contacts during the day.

Insurance Plans | We participate with VSP  and Medicare. Tricare West, Kaiser, Medical Eye Services, Blue Cross, Blue Shield, United HealthCare, Aetna, E.B.A.& M., Security Life, PacificCare, State Compensation, Cigna, United Foods and HealthNet. We would be happy to call your insurance company for you to verify your coverage.

Facilities and Equipment | We have ample parking and are wheelchair accessible.
We offer a wide variety of frames and lenses. Some of the designers we carry are Coach, Tommy Bahama, Ted Baker, Valentino, Silhouette, Joseph Abboud, Nautica, Lucky Brand, John Varvatos and ooh la la. Even the kids can have designer frames with our Barbie and Converse lines!
We now carry frames from Caviar - with Austrian crystals and 18K gold finishes!
Our lenses are made by the highest quality manufacturers and include products such as Zeiss, Shamir,Varilux, Transitions, Vivix, and Trivex.
We also have a large selection of sunglasses made by Persol, Carrera, Valentino, Carrera, Michael Kors, Nautica and RayBan.

Languages Spoken | Our staff speaks English, Spanish, Dr. McQuillan is fluent in Spanish, and he speaks a little Romanian.
