LASIK Co-Management

LASIK surgery is the most common refractive eye surgery performed today. It is used to correct a number of optical conditions, including myopia (nearsightedness), hyperopia (farsightedness) and astigmatism. What is LASIK

The LASIK procedure involves the use of a laser to reshape the cornea in order to improve visual acuity. For most patients, LASIK surgery provides a convenient and permanent alternative to eyeglasses or contact lenses. Best of all, LASIK is quick, painless and offers fast, dramatic and lasting results. Most patients report seeing 20/20 within just 24 hours of undergoing the procedure. LASIK surgery is performed as an out-patient procedure at a special optical surgery center. 

LASIK Recovery

Postoperative care may be performed by an eye doctor other than your LASIK surgeon. This is referred to as LASIK co-management. Dr. McQuillan is happy to provide this care at our office through a co-management agreement with your surgeon. Feel free to contact us for more information.
